Here is some important information for you regarding our wedding consultation/tastings.

When should I schedule my tasting?

The ideal time is 6 – 9 months prior to your wedding.

How long is the appointment?

While we schedule them for 60 minutes, they generally last about 30 – 40 minutes.

How many guests may I bring to our “Tasting for 2”?

Silly question!!  Space is very limited in our bakery, and we are open for business while the tastings are occurring so we ask that you keep the number of guests for your tasting to 2.  If you have additional guests that would like to sample our desserts, we will be happy to provide you with additional samples to take home.

Do you offer weekend tasting appointments?  We are closed on Sundays and Mondays, with the exception of a booked wedding or event, and we spend most Fridays and Saturdays preparing and delivering wedding orders.  This provides us with a very limited amount of time for weekend appointments.

When do you offer tastings? 

We have the most flexibility Tuesday – Thursday between 10:00am – 2:00pm and a very limited number of tastings on Saturday mornings between 9:00am – 11:00am.

What should I bring?

Please have your date and venue secured and come to the tasting with a fairly clear idea of what you are looking for in a wedding cake and/or desserts.  Would you like a tiered wedding cake, cake & cupcakes, dessert bar and/or cookie bar? Will you be incorporating flowers or your wedding colors into your cake? What flavors are you gravitating to? Do you want any kind of filling in the cake? How many people will be attending the wedding? A great place to get started for inspiration is Pinterest. Be sure to bring in color swatches if you have any. There are thousands of wedding cake ideas. Another important tip is to make sure your significant other is on the same page as you when it comes to what you want in your wedding cake.

Do you charge for tasting appointments?  No.  Our consultations are complimentary.

Can I choose my tasting flavors?  Unfortunately, no. Due to the overwhelming response to our complimentary tastings, we will provide you with 4 flavors from our weekly menu.
